Georgina Churchill - Blight Rayner

I believe that the act of designing entails both learnt knowledge and intuitive creativity, each informing the other. I have a particular interest in cultural heritage, and in linking the past with the future through sensitive, bespoke design solutions.

Experienced Architectural Graduate

Georgina Bartlett is an experienced architectural graduate who graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2014, gaining a second major in Interior Design.

From 2016 to 2019, Georgina worked for the respected architectural practice SPPARC in London on substantial retail, commercial and multi-residential projects, and on large scale urban master plans.

The projects she worked on include Ilderton Road, a stepped 3-25 storey mixed development in Kensington Olympia, London’s arts, entertainment and exhibition district, working with the renowned firm Heatherwick Studio. Georgina also worked on High Holborn, a remodelling of an existing office building, and Verney Road, a multi-residential urban renewal of a former industrial site.

On returning to Brisbane in 2020, Georgina joined Blight Rayner in 2020 and is in the process of applying for architectural registration. At our practice, she has been a key team member of our Western Sydney University Engineering Innovation Hub project in Sydney’s Parramatta and The Greenhouse in Brisbane’s West Village, a commercial building in this vibrant mixed use precinct.

Georgina’s versatility has enabled her to play key roles in the design of two high-end residences in Brisbane, the St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School Arts Precinct, a new country residence in the Byron Bay hinterland, and the 309 North Quay residential tower development in the Brisbane CBD.
