The thing that keeps me inspired with my work is that at the heart of every project (no matter the scale or type) are individual project needs and aspirations that we come to understand through learning and communication with the people of the organization……through this process being able to deliver considered, responsive places that people love.

Senior Interior Designer
Samantha Ritch is an interior designer with over 20 years’ experience across a range of projects from high end residential, multi residential, commercial, workplace, resort and senior’s lifestyle. Since graduating with distinction from QUT in 1992 Samantha has accumulated a broad experience working in both private and public sector honing interests and skills which led her to accept a position with the London Gensler office in 1997. Here Samantha gained experience developing interior spaces for large scale commercial projects alongside several London based workplace projects. A longing for the ocean, the sunlight and the country drew her home and in 2002 Samantha commenced as Senior Interior Designer with Cox Rayner Architects. Samantha worked alongside Michael and Jayson on commercial, residential and workplace projects including One One One Eagle Street and Suncorp Head Office. After 12 years with the team at Cox Rayner, she accepted a role with a small Brisbane studio practice where she was able to refine skills related to all aspects of boutique multi-residential, residential and senior’s lifestyle building projects.
In mid-2024, Samantha reconnected with Michael and Jayson and has joined the team at Blight Rayner to develop the commercial, workplace and hospitality potential. Samantha is currently working on Stadiums Queensland’s new corporate office. Samantha is delighted to be reunited with the inspired team of creatives at Blight Rayner.
