Brewers Street Terraces

Fortitude Valley, Brisbane

Completing the block of the two Jubilee developments that are currently under construction, the proposed Brewers Street Terraces define the corner of Symes and Brewers Street.

Providing a unique residential offering the 4 x 4 story terraces and 3 x 5 story units step and mark the corner. The proposed fine grain scale continues the approach set by the Jubilee development and the heritage building that is located diagonally on the opposite corner of the jubilee block.

Scale, materiality, and detailing ensure this proposed development sets a benchmark of integration and use, making and completing the Jubilee precinct a true mixed-use development. The corner is marked by the 5 story units which form a curved cantilever over the brick base that extends from Jubilee Place. The 4 terraces step up Brewers Street creating a rhythm and scale through detail.

The terraces offer titled ownership with the lower levels being home office spaces and carparking garages while the tops are defined by each terrace’s green outdoor spaces. Façade’s slide creating living verandahs overlooking the street.
