385-419 Macarthur Avenue

Northshore Hamilton, Brisbane, 2019–

This project comprises a suite of five new office buildings along Macarthur Avenue in Northshore Hamilton.

The commission came about through the client’s concern that two buildings completed earlier did not have sufficient allure for tenant attraction. Blight Rayner was awarded the commission based upon our ability to masterplan the precinct and create a set of buildings of complementary architecture while also offering distinct identities.

The buildings range from 3-5 storeys. The concept is based upon creating courtyard gardens between pairs of buildings, with side entrances flowing out onto the gardens to foster community life.

The first building was completed in 2021, and the second is under construction.
