Jeremy Wooldridge awarded UQ Sports Volunteer of the Year 2023

Blight Rayner Architectural Graduate Jeremy Wooldridge was recently awarded UQ Sports Volunteer of the Year 2023 – an award designed to recognise the valuable contribution that volunteers make to their UQ Sport Club and university sport.

The University of Queensland’s 2023 Club & Sports Awards Dinner was held at The Regatta Hotel on Tuesday 18 April. Brisbane broadcasting identity Victoria Carthew acted as MC, while former Wallaby Captain and 1998 Sportsman of the Year Nathan Sharpe was the evening’s guest speaker.

Jeremy has been with the UQ Beach Volleyball Club since 2013. He is passionate about developing and expanding the sport at the club and beyond and says, “I’ve always believed sport should be affordable and accessible for all types of people, no matter who you are or where you come from.”

At Blight Rayner, Jeremy is currently working on the National Rugby Training Centre and the wider Ballymore Sports Precinct Masterplan.

Congratulations Jeremy!
