Marnie Goodman

Architect
BDes(Arch), MArch (QUT), BOAQ

Marnie Goodman graduated with a Master of Architecture from Queensland University of Technology in 2017. She worked concurrently with her course at BVN Architecture, gaining experience from masterplanning through to the construction phase in Defence, Commercial, Education, and Health/Aged Care sectors. Example projects include the Lutheran Community Centre Tabeel at Laidley, RSL Bundoora Aged Care, the Delamere Range Project in the Northern Territory, the Land 121 Unit Sustainment Facilities for the Australian Defence Force, and Larrakeyah Barracks/HMAS Coonawarra redevelopment in Darwin.

Marnie gained extensive interior design skills as well as diverse architectural experience at BVN, and was project leader for Savills’ Brisbane fitout in the Riverside Centre. She extended her interior design expertise at Jacobs from 2020-2021 on the substantial Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment, gaining also experience in public hospital design and delivery.

Since joining Blight Rayner in 2021, Marnie has been a key team member on the National Rugby Training Centre at Ballymore and on a boutique office building in Macarthur Avenue, Northshore.

I believe wholeheartedly in the capacity of architecture and design to promote wellbeing and contribute positively to the environment.
