My approach to design is one grounded in first principles regardless of project stage. It's important to take a step back and ask, ‘how can we do this better and make it an opportunity for architectural expression?’ Armed with my knowledge of construction techniques, I strive to make the most out of every detail, no matter how diminutive.

Landon is a proud Kabi Kabi man and Graduate of Architecture with four years of experience across multi-residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects. He joins Blight Rayner having contributed to all project stages, from early concept and schematic design through to development approval, construction documentation, and construction delivery.

 

He has been closely involved in the development and delivery of elegant projects such as the ‘The Store’ mixed-use development in Newcastle, Coast luxury residential tower located on the Gold Coast, and the ‘Trove’ affordable housing project in Mount Gravatt.

 

Landon excels within BIM workflows, translating complex design thinking into clear documentation and compelling visualisation outcomes. He adopts a methodical approach to design grounded in strong conceptual thinking and a thorough understanding of construction techniques, enabling streamlined detailing throughout all stages of a project.

 

His work is shaped by a genuine interest in architecture and innovation through construction technologies that responds to both environmental and cultural context—prioritising outcomes that connect to Country and support ecological and anthropological wellbeing.
