Christopher Lewis - Blight Rayner

The most rewarding part about being an architect is transforming a city - being able to solve different problems across disciplines in order to get a building working effectively and aesthetically.

Christopher Lewis

BDes, MArch (QUT), BOAQ

Senior Architect

Christopher Lewis joined Blight Rayner Architecture after having spent a number of years delivering 1 William St, the State Government office tower with Woods Bagot and undertaking the detailed design and documentation of the Westin Hotel also known as 111 Mary St. He was also part of the design team awarded with the successful bid of Suncorp’s new commercial headquarters at 80 Ann St.

Chris’ prior years includes an internship in Europe with one of Belgium’s most recognised small practices where he developed skills in detail design and material compositions.

Since joining Blight Rayner in 2018, Chris has been the project architect for the Jubilee Place office building in Fortitude Valley, a complex structural steel project involving spanning tunnels and incorporating a historic hotel. Chris has become a senior architect with the practice and a strong mentor to graduate staff in documentation and quality management.
