Anita Vinagre holds a Master of Architecture and Urban Planning degree from Lisbon’s Faculdade de Arquitectura, graduating in 2010.
In the past eight years, Anita has gained a vast amount of experience in concept design, urban planning and documentation in Portugal, Angola and Australia.
In Portugal and Angola, she worked on several high-end residential projects, as well as a municipal master plan for a population of over 300,000 people.
In Australia her career continued on residential projects at SMaLL Architectural Studio in Brisbane. She joined Noel Robinson Architects in 2014, acting as Interior’s Coordinator and Documentation Controller for Brisbane SkyTower. When this project transferred to Nettleton Tribe Architects in 2016, Anita moved over to coordinate the residential levels 5-82, including construction coordination ranging through RFI response to shop drawing review.
Anita’s experience thus extends from large scale urban planning to detail construction, and she has to date been engaged in Blight Rayner’s 90 storey residential tower – 30 Albert Street Brisbane.
As an urban planner–and soon to be registered architect– I’m interested in the interaction between all types of buildings with the public spaces of the city. To me, virtually all buildings should contribute to the public realm in some way.
