Subrena Chhatwal is a qualified architect in the United Kingdom. She holds a Master of Applied Architectural Design with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, and completed Part 3 at the University College London Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment. Her thesis project on sustainable timber architecture was featured in the global architectural publication Dezeen.

 

Subrena subsequently worked in London for EPR Architects and for the Berkeley Group, her projects including 1 Hotel Mayfair in London, Brighton Gasworks mixed use development over 2 hectares of land, and West End Gate apartments development in London.

 

Subrena joined Blight Rayner in 2024 and has worked across a wide range of projects including the 131 Edward Street commercial tower in the Stephen’s Cathedral Precinct in Brisbane, the Queensland University of Technology education and research precinct in Herston Quarter in Brisbane, and the St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School Arts Precinct in Brisbane’s Ascot.
