St Margaret’s Rowing Facility

Albion, Brisbane, 2017–

Located on Breakfast Creek in Albion, the proposed expansion to the rowing facility is conceived as a counterpoint to the existing tin shed. Designed as a lightweight lantern, the sculptural silhouette of the roofscape rethinks the ‘amenities block’ and defines a new edge to the public park.

The elevated pavilion houses new amenities for the students, while the robust undercroft provides a gathering space for students and parents.
