Universities

We have been deeply involved in activities in the different universities for many years. This has the reciprocal benefit or passing our knowledge onto students and identifying those students for potential employment at Blight Rayner. Another benefit is gain from joint research projects into areas the sustainable materials, robotics, and automated manufacturing processes.

Michael Rayner has been an Adjunct Professor in Architecture at The University of Queensland since 2012, and at Griffith University since the beginning of its architecture program in the same year. He has tutored a Master Class in architecture at The University of Queensland for final year students, an outcome being our employment of the course’s top three graduates with whom Michael does most of his design work.

Jayson Blight has taught at Bond University as part of their Master of Architecture guest lecture series.

Our staff also contribute to courses through part-time tutoring and individual lectures and workshops.
