Benjamin Carter - Blight Rayner

I was born to BIM.

Benjamin Carter

BDesign(ArchSt), BUrbDev(Urb&RegPlan) (QUT)

BIM Manager

Benjamin Carter is Blight Rayner’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) Manager.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Design (Architectural Studies) from QUT in 2012, having graduated with a Bachelor of Urban Development (Urban and Regional Planning) in 2009. During this course, he participated in a joint QUT-Daejeon University program for the Daejeon City Revitalisation in South Korea.

From 2007, Ben worked at Riddel Architecture throughout their merger with Conrad Gargett, and then at WilkinsonEyre in London from 2014 until 2018. His projects included CIBC Square in Toronto, Battersea Power Station Redevelopment and the City University of London Law School, and One Queensbridge in Melbourne.

Ben is a fulcrum of Blight Rayner’s creative and documentation output, excelling at tailoring our BIM technologies to our processes from concept design through to final detailing.
