Ben Wilson

Architect
BArch, BA(RelSt)Hons1 (UQ), BOAQ

Ben Wilson holds degrees in Architecture and Religious Studies from the University of Queensland.

Prior to joining Blight Rayner, Ben worked at Hassell on the design development and documentation of infrastructure and tertiary education projects including the Cross River Rail Roma Street and Albert Street redevelopments, the University of Queensland Student Hub, and three projects at the Australian National University (ANU) – the Research School of Physics and Engineering, the College of Engineering and Computer Engineering, and the same College’s Courtyard Pavilions.

Ben also has extensive airport design and documentation experience, including the Brisbane Domestic Airport Extension, the Qantas Business Lounge and the Qantas Charman’s Lounge, all with Studio Arkitecture. He has undertaken a number of houses for Bligh Graham, at Indooroopilly, Highgate Hill and Brookfield.

Ben is currently documenting the National Rugby Training Centre at Ballymore in Brisbane and office buildings in Brisbane CBD and Northshore Hamilton.

I am interested in how details combine to express the whole and to enrich the overall design intent.
