ULI ASIA PACIFIC AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE 2024

Blight Rayner Architecture is thrilled that Jubilee Place in Fortitude Valley has been named as one of the twelve winners of the ULI (Urban Land Institute) Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence 2024.

We had a fantastic relationship with our client JGL Properties, builders BESIX Watpac and Rohrig, and a wide array of great consultants like Robert Bird Group, Floth, Leo Mewing, Lat Studios and Theola. Also with TB Hotels reviving the iconic Jubilee Hotel and Economic Development Queensland who supported the vision and nurtured the outcome with us.

The creativity in this project was a shared effort, enabling development of a commercially viable office building along with the restoration and expansion or the hotel while meeting significant technical challenges (like the Clem Jones tunnel under the site) that informed the diagrid architecture.
