Kara West

Media & Communications Coordinator
AssocAGDA

Kara West is Blight Rayner’s Media and Communications Coordinator.

Kara worked directly with Michael Rayner at Cox Rayner Architects for three years before joining Blight Rayner in 2016.

Initially working in graphic design, Kara’s skills were such that she was appointed to manage the development of the national Cox Architecture website, maintain their social media channels, and coordinate Cox Rayner’s project submissions.

In addition, she was a valuable member of the Cox Rayner graphics team for competition-winning architecture projects and for university and urban renewal master plans. Examples of her graphic design work at Cox Rayner include Workplace Strategy booklets for Tatts Group, the Queensland Cultural Precinct Master Plan, a heritage signage display at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, maintenance of the JCU Townsville Campus Master Plan, and signage for the KS1 Kings Square office building in Perth.

Previously, Kara has worked as a graphic and web designer and also in business operations at the head office of a large national consultative sales organisation.

I am passionate about engaging and consulting with our clients to deliver meaningful, high-quality outcomes. I am also extremely proud to communicate and promote Blight Rayner's design quality.
