Alex Munoz

Architectural Graduate
BArchDes (UQ)

Alex Munoz is currently completing his Master of Architecture at the University of Queensland. He worked directly with Jayson Blight for two years at Cox Rayner Architects prior to joining Blight Rayner.

Alex has specialist skills in advanced Revit (BIM) analysis, and in systems for complex geometric resolution including Rhino and Grasshopper.  These skills have been particularly beneficial for the 80,000 m2 National Maritime Museum of China in Tianjin he worked on while at Cox Rayner, and for two 80 level residential towers proposed in Brisbane that he is currently working on.

I’m fanatical to learn everything to be a complete architect. My special interest is in using parametric modelling to resolve complex geometries, and the National Maritime Museum of China was a wonderful baptism for me.
